The legend has left us. Veteran actor Rajesh Khanna who passed away on Wednesday morning was cremated at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Juhu yesterday..
While it is said that he was suffering from an illness not disclosed, sources claim that Rajesh Khanna was suffering from either liver infection or cancer.
Version 1 of the story is that due to liver infection, days before his death, he could not digest his food. But then he turned up at his balcony and assured that everything is fine with him. The actor had been battling with the problem since April and as per reports, his health deteriorated in May and since then, he was on liquid intake.
The other version of the story is that Rajesh Khanna’s health started deteriorating ever since the actor was diagnosed with cancer. The actor was suffering from the deadly disease for about a year and a half.
While initially Khanna had the willingness to fight the disease and was happy that he had his loved ones around him, in the last one month the superstar lost hope and gave up. The actor wished for a grand farewell and his family ensured that he got all the attention he deserved.
Late superstar Rajesh Khanna’s bungalow will reportedly be converted into a museum as per his daughters’ wish. Although all these rumors are not yet confirmed by the family, we regret the loss of out first superstar.. May his soul rest in peace.
