It was earlier reported that Katrina Kaif will play the main protagonist in Raajneeti 2 and that Ranbir Kapoor will not be a part of the film. But looks like the makers have a different story to tell.
Kareena Kapoor, who is in news for walking out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela, is likely to play the role of Indian prime minister in the sequel to Prakash Jha’s political thriller opposite Ajay Devgn. The film is expected to go on floors by the end of the year and apparently it was Ajay who suggested that Kareena should play the role.
The sources further said that Bebo is excited to don the avatar of a politician. Well we wonder if this political thriller is indeed Rajneeti 2 or Prakash Jha’s another political drama inspired film…since Ajay’s character in Raajneeti died in the climax.
