New mommy Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who has been receiving flaks for her post delivery weight, will soon be attending the Cannes International Film Festival red carpet slated for May 16 to May 27.
She will be joining Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Rampal and Bipasha Basu. While Arjun Rampal is expected to make an appearance at the forthcoming 65th Cannes International Film Festival as the ambassador of liquor brand Chivas, the official partner of the event, Bipasha Basu will be their to promote Singularity.
Interestingly, this will be Aishwarya’s first visit to the festival after giving birth to a baby girl last year. She had earlier attended the festival with Madhur Bhandarkar to promote his ambitious movie, Heroine.
Heroine was announced with Aishwarya Rai at the festival last year. But she opted out of the film due to her pregnancy. Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Bhandarkar, the film now has Kareena Kapoor and Arjun in the lead roles.
