It has been a well known fact that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was signed to play the lead actress in Madhur Bhandarkar’s heroine.
But after her pregnancy news broke out, the actress opted out of the film..
However, Madhur seems to have inserted a pregnancy storyline into the film, to make a little dig at Aishwarya.. Bhandarkar tweeted a picture of Kareena Kapoor posing with members of the Heroine crew and sporting a baby bump. He later assured his followers that the bump was actually a fake.
Come to think of it, Madhur is making a film about a glamorous actress who gets pregnant. He had cast a glamorous actress earlier but fired her when she…got pregnant. Now that’s weird.
We believe that it couldn’t have been in the original script, because Bhandarkar created a huge outcry about how Aishwarya Rai hid the fact that she was pregnant. Aiswharya after all had completed eight days of shooting.. If the pregnant plot was in the story, he could have easily kept Aishwarya in the movie. She would after all have sported a real baby bump.
Well, if Kareena Kapoor’s character in the film has a child and then takes four months to name it, we’ll know it was all on purpose!
