After Shahrukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Ram Gopal Verma it is Amitabh Bachchan now who has taken the help of the social networking site twitter to taunt the media.
With the F1 grabbing all the headlines off late Amitabh Bachchan wasn’t quite amused with a particular piece of news about the mega racing event.
Amitabh Bachchan wrote on twitter: “A media head acknowledges the F1 phenomena, and in same breathe talks of its irrelevance in today’s India in its poverty …”
He added: “They ask if all this expense is necessary in our country, and its wealth diversion to the poor.. Good thinking media head.. But….. But … how about shutting down your 5-star media studio too.. Save money for the poor.. !!”
Mr. Bachchan later acknowledged the internet medium by saying: “Put something down on social networking site and be sure it shall make headlines within minutes – the power and glory of the net! Well point taken Mr. Bachchan
