The Bachchan parivar is geared up to welcome the new member of their family. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is currently into eight months of her pregnancy had a grand ‘Godh Bharai’ ceremony as per ritual yesterday afternoon.
Hosted by mother in law Jaya Bachchan and sister in law Shweta Nanda the ‘Godh Bharai’ ceremony saw many of the Bollywood bigges attending the event.. The ones who were spotted at Jalsa were Saira Banu, Mana Shetty, Asha Parekh, designer Shaina NC, Neetu Singh, , Bipasha Basu, designer Neeta and Nishka Lulla Karan Johar, Urmila Matondkar, Dimple Kapadia, Manyata Dutt, Neelam Kothari, Twinkle khanna, Shobha Kapoor, Poonam Sinha, Zeenat Aman, Kirron Kher and Kajol.
Hubby Abhishek Bachchan specially flew down from Jaipur to be with his family for the grand ceremony. However, grand father Amitabh Bahchchan was missing as he was away shooting in Sydney for his first international project ‘the Gatsby’.
